TIMOTHY P. KOWALSKI, M.A., C.C.C.-SLP, specializes in social-pragmatic communication deficits and is an internationally known expert on Asperger Syndrome.

Mr. Kowalski is the author of “The Source for Asperger Syndrome”, a practical resource for anyone working with this population and “Assessing Social Communication in Asperger Syndrome”. He is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Council for Exceptional Children, the Council for Behavior Disorders, the Association on Higher Education and Disability, and the Autism Society of America.

He is the recipient of the TEAMS 2000 Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year award for his work with Autism has served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Orlando Chapter of the Autism Society of America.

CAROL STOCK KRANOWITZ has been a music, movement and drama teacher for 30 years, board Member of SPD Foundation and Editor-in-Chief of S.I. Focus, the magazine devoted to sensory processing issues.

She studied Sensory Integration Disorder now known as Sensory Processing Disorder, to better understand and help those children who seemed “Out-of-Sync”. Her books on the same issue are treated as bible by therapists, teachers and parents alike.

Since 1981 she has been a speaker at approximately 400 workshops at national and international conventions, on Sensory Processing Disorder, music and movement, parenting, child development etc addressing parents, educators, and professionals about sensory issues and suggesting activities for addressing them at home and school.
